STEVENS POINT, Wis.  December 29, 2014 – The award-winning Stevens Point Brewery is turning up the volume by sponsoring award-winning country rockers Raised Reckless, one of Wisconsin’s hottest up-and-coming bands.

The Stevens Point-based band, which outperformed dozens of bands earlier this year to win the 2014 Wisconsin State Country Band Championship at Rhinelander’s Hodag Country Music Festival, will promote Stevens Point Brewery beers at its performances across Wisconsin, and on its website and Facebook page. The just-announced sponsorship also includes signage and posters at performances, and Point Brewery apparel for band members.

Known for their “rough, rockin’ edge,” Raised Reckless formed in March of 2013.  The band’s repertoire is an exciting musical fusion of 80’s and 90’s country hits mixed with current hits.  Band members include Tyler Crum on lead guitar and vocals, Keith Bronk on bass guitar and vocals, Phil Smyth on fiddle, guitar and mandolin, Steven Freehill on drums and vocals, and Drew Hamel on rhythm guitar and vocals.  All five members live in the Stevens Point area.

An exciting New Years Eve performance is scheduled for Wednesday Night at Rookies Sports Pub, Stevens Point.
